My son has really benefitted from Sports-Work. He has learned to love running especially outside! His confidence has improved greatly.
Oftentimes children are not confident in their abilities and skills, especially when trying something new. I have heard many kids say, “I am not good at… baseball, basketball, running…” when the truth is they haven’t had much experience with the particular sport.
An all inclusive afterschool program enables children to see peers with all skill levels. Not everyone has to be the best at a sport or activity. The Sports-Work program aims to be fun while teaching children skills to build confidence.
